| Due to the closure of Roanoke City Schools, and at the direction of state and federal officials, we will be suspending our After-School Program through Friday, March 27. During the closure, we will be reaching out to our families to offer support, encouragement, prayer, and food/supplies. As a result, we will be in need of more supplies than normal in our pantry. Please see our needs list below. We will also be making temporary modifications to our food pantry, but will continue serving needed food and supplies to our neighbors at this time. | How you can help: 1. Pray for our families of the After-School Program as they will be under extra duress during this time. 2. Pray for the participants of our food pantry. Many of them are vulnerable due to poor health. 3. Offer to help deliver food to our families. 4. Donate money or food items to help our families during this time. We could really use the following items for our families right now: dry noodles, spaghetti sauce, canned soup, jelly, peanut butter, canned tuna, oatmeal, canned fruit, canned veggies, canned/powdered milk, cereal, and toilet paper. |
